Use Root Cage for Crowd Control

Drop Root Cage on groups of enemies to Diablo 4 Items root them in place.

This ability helps lock down elites and gives Poison Volley time to fully apply its stacking damage.

It's especially effective in dungeons and elite-heavy areas.

Use Spirit Step to reset positioning or jump over terrain gaps for efficient routing.

Damage Synergies & Tips
Poison Barrage scales with Noxious Resonance, a passive node that increases poison damage over time the longer enemies are affected.

Equip Venomfang Totem and Jaguar Claws to increase your poison and thorn damage — stacking thorns adds bonus spikes of damage in AoE.

There’s a current synergy (potentially a bug) allowing Double Jaguar Spirit Guardians, doubling your passive poison and cheap d4 mats thorns output.
