The September Spotlight Drop 2 Program is a good example of why planning matters in Diamond Dynasty. The target is the 99 OVR Adael Amador card, and the program requires 50 points. Before doing anything complicated, I would look at the easy points first and build the rest of the grind around them.

Players who normally worry about MLB The Show Stubs do not have to make that the focus here. The basic reward path can be completed through gameplay, and the early cards from the program actually help with later objectives. That makes the progression feel more connected than simply buying or collecting cards.

Get the Easy Points First
The seven standard Moments are the obvious starting point. Each gives four points, meaning the complete set awards 28 points.

That is a huge portion of the 50-point requirement, so there is little reason to delay them. Moments are also generally quicker than playing full games, making them useful when you want to make immediate progress.

The reward track then gives you two 97 OVR players. Leonardo Bernal becomes available at 10 points, followed by Anthony Volpe at 20 points. These cards should not be treated as rewards that you simply collect and forget about.

Use Bernal for PXP
Leonardo Bernal is particularly helpful because the program has a 1,000 PXP mission requiring Spotlight or Topps Now players. Once Bernal is unlocked, placing him into your lineup gives you a straightforward way to start working on that objective.

At the same time, the program has a separate 5,000 PXP mission that awards another 15 points. You can work on both objectives during the same games rather than completing them in isolation.

That overlap is probably the most important efficiency trick in the whole program. Your lineup should be built around cards that help several objectives whenever possible.

Pick a Comfortable Game Mode
There is no single mode you have to use for the PXP grind. Conquest is a natural choice for offline players, especially if you already have maps to finish. Play vs CPU and Mini Seasons are alternatives when you prefer a more controlled environment.

Events can be useful for online players who want to make progress without stepping away from competitive Diamond Dynasty. The key is simply to use supported modes and keep your eligible cards active.

If you are already playing these modes for other programs or rewards, there is even less reason to create a special grinding session. Let the Spotlight objectives fit into the games you were going to play anyway.

Remember the Other Missions
The program also gives 10 points for hitting 20 home runs and another 10 for recording 20 strikeouts. These objectives do not require the same Spotlight or Topps Now restrictions as the special PXP mission.

That means you can work toward them naturally. If you are using strong hitters, home runs will accumulate while you chase PXP. Likewise, a reliable pitcher can gradually build the strikeout total.

Trying to force every objective at once can sometimes make games feel slower, so I would prioritize the large PXP missions and let these totals develop alongside them.

Skip Collections Unless You Need Them
Optional collections are available for players who want additional Program Points, but they are not essential to reaching Amador.

This is worth remembering if you are trying to conserve your collection. You do not need to lock cards into a collection simply because the program offers points for doing so.

The Extreme Moment is another optional source of progress. It can be useful for players who enjoy challenging Moments, but it should be viewed as an alternative rather than a mandatory step.

The Point Total Works in Your Favor
The simplest calculation is 28 points from the seven standard Moments, plus 15 from the overall PXP mission and 15 from the Spotlight or Topps Now PXP mission. That produces 58 points.

Since only 50 points are required, there is an eight-point cushion. In practical terms, this means you can finish the core Moments and PXP objectives without touching the optional collections.

That makes the program much easier to manage, especially if you prefer earning rewards through normal gameplay instead of building your entire session around a checklist.

Finish Without Overcomplicating It
Once Bernal and Volpe are available, keep the useful reward cards in your lineup and continue earning PXP. You can switch between offline and online modes based on what you normally play.

The main idea is simple: complete the short Moments first, then use eligible players while working through the PXP requirements. There is no need to make the program harder than it needs to be.

A Straightforward End Goal
If you are approaching the program with a limited amount of time, concentrate on the guaranteed points rather than chasing every optional reward. The standard route already provides enough progress to reach Amador.
